Q. How long will it take to receive my photos? A. You should receive your pictures from your postal carrier within 10 to 15 days after your payment is received.
Q. What is my account number? A. Your photo ID number, which is used to match your order with your baby’s negative, can be found on the card you received in the hospital. This number will appear in RED.
Q. Is it safe to order online? A. "Yes, orders are encrypted for transfer using our secure server. Secure servers code information and make it unreadable by others."
Q. When will I receive proofs of my baby’s photos? A. "We do not work with a proof system; however, we do have a money-back guarantee."
Q. How do you choose the photo I receive? A. "The photographer takes several shots of each baby and our trained technicians review each pose and based upon a list of criteria choose the best photo. First, we look for eyes open, centering the baby, and location of the hands. The photo that meets most of the criteria is the one we send to you."
Q. Are there other poses available? A. "Yes, we do have poses available, which can be reviewed if you would like to have additional photos."
Q. How long do you keep the negatives? A. "We hold the negatives for a minimum of at least one year from baby’s birth, sometimes longer. Call our office and confirm the status of your baby’s negative if it has been over one year."
Q. How do I return my photos for a refund? A. "Please call the telephone number on the card given to you in the hospital, and they will be able to assist you. The package/photo price and sales tax are refundable; however, the shipping and handling charge and, for those who ordered by COD, the COD fee is not refundable."
Q. Can I have my COD package resent? A. " Unfortunately, once the original COD package has been returned to the office it cannot be sent COD again. A notice from Special Delivery Photos will be mailed to you explaining that your photo package is still available. If you wish to have the photos resent, you will need to prepay with a credit card by phone or forward a check or money order to the company."
